How Should I Prepare for My Appointment?
Eat a full meal at least an hour before arriving and stay hydrated. You’re welcome to bring snacks and beverages. Water will be available at the shop.
Feel free to bring entertainment, such as headphones, an iPad, or a book, to keep yourself occupied.
If using your phone during the session, please be mindful of movements that could affect the tattooing process.
Dress appropriately for your session, considering tattoo placement. Wear clothing you don’t mind getting potentially stained.
To save time, shave the area being tattooed before your appointment if necessary.
If you have sunburn or other skin issues in the area, you will need to reschedule.
If you are feeling unwell, please reschedule.
Expect to spend more time in the shop than just the tattooing itself. Additional time may be needed for stenciling, resizing, repositioning, or freehanding the design.
How Does the Deposit Work?
Your deposit will be applied as a credit toward your tattoo session, provided you do not cancel. The deposit will be forfeited if you:
Arrive more than 30 minutes late to your appointment.
Reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice.
No-show without notifying the artist.
If forfeited, a new deposit will be required to book another appointment.
How Old Do I Have to Be to Get a Tattoo?
Under New York State Penal Law, clients must be at least 18 years old to receive a tattoo—no exceptions, even with parental consent. A valid State or Federal Photo ID is required.
How Long Does It Take for a Tattoo to Heal?
Initial healing takes about two weeks, but full skin regeneration can take months. If your skin is still peeling or has a shiny texture, it’s not fully healed. Your tattoo should eventually match the consistency of the surrounding skin.
Can I bring a guest?
Due to limited space, guests are not allowed in the private studio space for emotional support. Please do not bring guests with you, but there are a bunch of local coffee shops and eateries to hang out in while they wait.
Cancellation Policy
All appointments require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellation. If canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice, your deposit may be applied to a future appointment. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
